The Department of Pediatric Specialties at the Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is currently interviewing for a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our practice at the state-of-the-art facility at Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
Our Pediatric Gastroenterology team at the Kaiser Permanente Capitol Hill Medical Center includes board certified pediatric gastroenterologists, nurses and clinical assistants. Our nursing staff in the Pediatric Infusion Center are specifically trained as chemotherapy/biotherapy providers as well as APHON certified pediatric hematology/oncology nurses. Other healthcare professionals including a nutritionist, nurse coordinator/case manager, pharmacist, on site phlebotomist and a child life specialist are available in the pediatric specialty clinic and are an integral part of our care model. The medical center also provides an on-site endoscopy suite with dedicated anesthesiologists, nursing staff support, radiology services, pharmacy and an advanced urgent care to support our pediatric patients.
The position provides an exciting opportunity to pursue a career in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and able to obtain DC, MD and Virginia license and have strong clinical and procedural skills set.
Kaiser Permanente Capitol Hill Medical Center serves as the regional center for pediatric specialty care for the Kaiser Permanente Health system in the Mid Atlantic. Outpatient care is provided by our team at the medical center and via telemedicine appointments.
Kaiser Permanente is an integrated health care system. One electronic medical record (EPIC) is used for all patient encounters, from primary care to specialty care. The EMR is used by laboratory, imaging, pharmacy and all other ancillary services throughout the health care system.”

Requirements
