Description
Providence Digestive Health is seeking a Transplant Hepatologist to join their dedicated team in Spokane, Washington.
You will work in close collaboration with the Swedish Organ Transplant team based in Seattle. We care for patients from a broad catchment area covering eastern Washington, northern Idaho, western Montana, and northeast Oregon. With respect to the transplant program, we play a pivotal role taking responsibility for evaluating new patient referrals, managing patients pre-transplant, and resuming care at 6-8 weeks post-transplant alongside the existing full-time transplant hepatologist.
The clinic also provides general hepatology care and treatment for a wide range of liver-related diseases. The position offers a healthy work/life balance with a four-day work week comprising of a mix of general and transplant hepatology outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding service, and dedicated anesthesia time for endoscopic procedures. We have a robust, multidisciplinary group including general gastroenterology, advanced GI, hepatobiliary surgery, and interventional radiology to provide comprehensive care at our tertiary care center.

- Compensation is between $552,000 and $646,000 per year
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- Call would be 1:3 and is 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays only
- No night or weekend call
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
