Staff Pediatric Gastroenterologist
Opportunity at Midwest Research Hospital
Boys Town National Research Hospital is actively recruiting a staff pediatric gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team of pediatric providers in the Omaha, Nebraska area. This new position will provide specialized medical and surgical care to Boys Town National Research Hospital patients and referred patients.
Major responsibilities and duties:
- Provides direct specialty gastroenterology care to hospital patients
- Serves as a medical member of the multidisciplinary evaluation and remediation team with special responsibility for the care of children with digestive system problems at the hospital inpatient and ambulatory care units
- Designs and conducts clinical and/or basic research projects in area of specialty aligning with the goals of Boys Town National Research Hospital, as approved by leadership
- Cooperates with staff members in the conduct of clinical and/or basic research projects
- Participates in and/or conducts various educational programs developed by Boys Town National Research Hospital in undergraduate and graduate medicine, continuing education, nursing, and related allied health fields.
- Participates in the development of program/project objectives, sub-objectives, and staffing needs for the medical program
- Undertakes special projects as directed
